Steph Curry Still Thinks Warriors Are Team To Beat In NBA

The Golden State Warriors have been the most dominant team in the NBA over the past decade. They won three titles in four years and changed the way basketball was played, making the three-point shot more of a focal point than it had ever been.

Steph Curry spoke to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle and other members of the media after a recent game saying that the Warriors are still the team to beat in the NBA.

“Teams still want to beat us and beat us bad. They still have a lot of memories from the last five years.”

Although they missed the playoffs last season due to injury issues and are not currently the dominant team they once were, Curry thinks there is still a target on their back. While they don’t currently have the best record in the NBA, they are perhaps the most decorated team to beat. In his opinion, teams still remember what the Warriors once were and want to get their revenge.

Golden State is currently 19-16 behind Curry’s performance and MVP-level of play. As of now, that’s good for the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference as the Warriors look to make the playoffs once again.
