The Brooklyn Nets are the most talented team in the NBA, headlined by a trio of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. They’ve also got a solid supporting cast with former NBA All-Star Blake Griffin as well as Joe Harris, Jeff Green and many others.
However, they may become an even better team in the coming weeks with one of their key pieces having a chance to return from injury. According to Kristian Winfield of The Athletic, Spencer Dinwiddie is “eyeing” a return to the Nets for the NBA Finals. The bench spark plug is expected to be on sidelines supporting the Nets “sooner than later.”
Dinwiddie has been been out since December after suffering a partially torn ACL in his right knee just three games into the 2020-21 season.

While his role will be decreased with the new roster composition and needing to ease back into on-court action, Dinwiddie could be a real difference maker if he returns in the NBA Finals.
The Brooklyn Nets are currently tied 2-2 in their series with the Milwaukee Bucks and will have to defeat another Eastern Conference opponent after that series to make it to the Finals. There’s a long way to go, but if the Nets make it the distance, more help could be coming.
