The Milwaukee Bucks have listed Giannis Antetokounmpo as out for tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic, it’s the second consecutive game that the superstar forward has been sidelined due to a sore back.
“His back is something I guess would be in that category of something we manage and keep our eyes on, and sometimes it flares up,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer told the media.
The sore back isn’t considered to be a serious issue but it’s something that the squad is committed to monitoring over the course of a long NBA season.
Antetokounmpo has never missed more than 10 games in one season over the course of his six-year career and this year the 25-year-old’s work load has been the lightest it’s been since his second campaign in the league.
Antetokounmpo has averaged 30.5 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game in less than 32 minutes of action.
