Before Thunder vs. Celtics on Sunday night, (Al) Horford said if Westbrook averages a triple-double, he’s the league’s MVP.
“If he’s able to do that, I mean … he’s gotta be the MVP, right? That’s just flat out, there’s no question in our minds,” Horford said. “He’s doing it so frequently now that I don’t think people understand how difficult it is.”
“He’s playing in a tough conference, and night in and night out, teams are doubling him and doing all this stuff and he still manages to do that,” Horford said. “You’ve gotta give him a lot of credit. […] People can do that for a week or a game or two but not like this. This is special.”
