In Westbrook’s opinion, he is one of a kind. While players can impact the game in their own ways, he’s proven that his style is something that is hard to replicate and makes a real impact on winning.
“There is no player like myself. And if people want to take it for granted, sorry for them. But I’m pretty sure if everybody could do it, they would do it…Ain’t easy though, I’ll tell you that. It ain’t easy, I take a lot of pride.”
On the season, Westbrook has notched a ton of triple-doubles on his path to breaking the all-time record for the most in an NBA career. Through 54 games in Washington, the nine-time all-star has averaged 21.8 points, 11.0 assists and 11.0 rebounds per game.
