Damian Lillard hit the 30-point mark for the sixth time in seven games. The red-hot Blazers have now won seven of their last eight games, and 12 of their last 14.

Inconsistent defensive effort by the Rockets left them in a 62-33 hole early in the third quarter. That’s a deficit you can’t battle back from, especially if James Harden is shooting just 10-25 from the field.

Detroit was on fire from outside in the first half, shooting 6-7 from behind the arc in the first quarter and 5-12 in the second. Andre Drummond posted his NBA-leading 50th double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds.

The Warriors couldn’t get things going in the first half, and then Stephen Curry went down with an ankle injury early in the third quarter. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook both had major nights, but Curry came back and started to light things up.
