The Pistons and Hawks are discussing a trade that would send center Andre Drummond to Atlanta, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
In addition the the Hawks, Detroit is reportedly in contact with “several other teams” about moving Drummond.
Drummond, 26, has the option to become a free agent after the season, forcing the Pistons to consider the possibility of losing him this summer.
With Detroit effectively out of the playoff race, there’s an “incredible belief” among NBA teams that Drummond will be traded before the February 6 trade deadline, per Woj.
