Nick Young, also known as Swaggy P, is taking his talents to the Chinese Basketball Association to play for Zhejiang Lions. As first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic, the 12-year NBA veteran will once again play basketball after a two-year absence.
Young is now 35 years old and hasn’t been able to get back on an NBA team since winning a title with the Warriors in 2018. The last time he touched an NBA floor was actually prior to that championship, when he played for the Denver Nuggets earlier that same season.
A career .376 3-point shooter, Young will bring a flashy style of play and a high-level of scoring to China. The Zhejiang Lions already have a familiar NBA face in Wilson Chandler who will be Young’s newest teammate.
