North Carolina forward Nassir Little has decided to enter the NBA Draft, Jonathan Givony of ESPN writes. The forward came off the bench for the Tar Heels but his ceiling intrigues NBA scouts.
Currently slotted 18th on Tankathon’s NBA Draft Big Board, Little boasts impressive size and upside. The 6’6″ forward has a 7’1″ wingspan but had his playing time capped by the presence of UNC seniors Cameron Johnson and Luke Maye on the Tar Heels’ roster.
Despite the limited collegiate role, Little’s high school accolades include being named the MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic and the McDonald’s All American Game.
NCAA underclassmen will have until April 21 to declare for the draft and then a month to participate in NBA workouts and the Combine before a May 29 deadline to withdraw.
