Montrezl Harrell Speaks On His Untapped Potential

Montrezl Harrell was part of the Russell Westbrook trade earlier this offseason, sending him to the Washington Wizards for a fresh start. Known for being an excellent piece off the bench, Harrell is just scratching the surface of reaching his goals.

In an introductory press conference this week, Harrell talked about everything he still wants to achieve in his career.

“I haven’t been an All-Star in this league since I’ve been here. So, I feel like I have a lot of untapped talents. I haven’t been to an NBA Finals, I haven’t won a championship. There’s a lot of things I haven’t done as a player, so there’s a lot of untapped [potential] that I feel like I can reach,” he said.

Harrell had a down season with the Lakers last year in a limited role, averaging just 13.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. The season prior with the Clippers, he averaged 18.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, winning NBA Sixth Man of the Year.

Just 27 years old, Harrell has many great years of NBA basketball ahead of him.
