In 2013, former NBAer Michael Beasley was under investigation for sexual assault, but was never formally charged.
According to a lawsuit filed in federal court Monday, Beasley and a friend are being accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a woman at his Scottsdale home.
The second overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft currently plays in China for the Shanghai Sharks.

The woman accused Michael Beasley, who the Suns waived in September 2013 following an arrest for marijuana possession, of stripping her clothing, choking her until she was unconscious and repeatedly sexually assaulting her, according to court documents.
A representative for Beasley did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday morning. […] Scottsdale police previously acknowledged in May 2013 that detectives were investigating the incident, but no criminal charges were filed in the case.
The civil suit filed in U.S. District Court requests $25 million in damages for allegations including sexual assault, infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment, according to court documents.
