As they put together one of the best groups of young talent in the NBA, the Orlando Magic May continue to get younger. According the Ian Begley of SNY, the Magic have begun to have trade conversations with teams around the league regarding Terrence Ross.
As they continue to rebuild, Orlando could look to continue to trade their veterans, continuing their trend of doing so at the last trade deadline. On a contending team, Ross could be one of the best bench scorers in the NBA. Last season with the Magic, he averaged 15.6 points off the bench in less than 30 minutes per game.
With two years left on his current contract at a team-friendly late, there will be many teams with interest in the high-scoring guard. With the amount of young guard talent Orlando has now, they’ll need to prioritize their minutes for development.
