LeBron James Misses Second-Straight Game, Anthony Davis Listed as Questionable Against OKC
After a solid start to the NBA regular season, two of the Los Angeles Lakers’ biggest stars are both battling through injuries.
The Lakers will be without superstar LeBron James for the second-straight game during Wednesday’s matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to ESPN.
James sat out the Lakers’ win against the San Antonio Spurs after suffering an injury on Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies when Desmond Bane fell into his right leg after making a layup, causing him to go to the floor.
The Lakers got another big injury scare after All-Star big Anthony Davis suffered a right knee injury in the fourth quarter against the Spurs. Davis was able to finish the final 32.2 seconds of the game, however, he has been listed as questionable for Wednesday’s matchup against the Thunder.
Both James and Davis missed substantial time last season—with James missing 26 games due to a high ankle pain, while Davis missed 36 games. Both players are pivotal to the Lakers’ championship hopes.
