Although the NBA Draft was just over two weeks ago, rookies are already reporting to training camp and getting acquainted with their new teams. Among this year’s draft class, there should be plenty of guys who end up having excellent careers.
It’s tough to determine who will end up having the best rookie season without seeing them play on this stage. However, when it comes to betting odds, many sites, including Odds Shark, have LaMelo Ball as the slight favorite to win NBA Rookie of the Year in the upcoming season.

Ball wasn’t the first player taken in the 2020 NBA Draft, both Anthony Edwards and James Wiseman were taken before him, but Vegas still regards him as the favorite to bring home the trophy.
Ball has an excellent opportunity to win this award in Charlotte as he’ll arrive in town as one of the team’s primary options out of the gates. After skipping college to play a season overseas professionally, the 19-year-old guard is taking the next step into the NBA.
In less than three weeks, the 2020-21 season will officially kick off and these rookies will get the opportunity to show off their talent in real NBA action.
