Kyle Korver retired after the 2019-20 season, but is making his way back into the NBA. However this time, it will be on the sidelines instead of on the court.
As first reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Korver is joining the Brooklyn Nets coaching staff, as Player Development Assistant Coach.
Korver played 17 seasons in the NBA on a variety of teams and was known as one of the best shooters of his era. Now that his career as a player is over, Korver will continue making an impact on the NBA.
He posted career averages of 9.7 points per game while shooting 42.9 percent from deep. Korver made one NBA All-Star appearance and was part of the historic 2003 Draft, going No. 51 overall.
