Kevin Love, as good as he is, has had quite a bit of trouble staying healthy in recent years. In fact, he hasn’t played more than 60 games in a season since 2016.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, this trend is going to continue into the 2020-21 season, as Love is set to miss 3-4 weeks with a calf strain.
The Cavaliers are off to a hot 3-1 start to their season behind their dynamic guard duo of Collin Sexton and Darius Garland. Will they be able to maintain this without a veteran like Love on the floor?
Through the two games in which Love played this season prior to his injury, he averaged 9.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per contest.
