After spending eight seasons together in Washington, John Wall and Bradley Beal are on different teams for the 2020-21 NBA season. However, the two guards are still close and fully support each other.
Wall recently spoke to Fred Katz of The Athletic about his time with the Wizards and was asked if he still watches their games.
“Why wouldn’t I? I told everybody, I said, I still watch all their games. Who the hell wouldn’t wanna watch Bradley Beal? The numbers he puts up, the way he plays, you wanna support that. Outside of being just my brother, he’s a hell of a basketball player. So, a fan would wanna enjoy that.”
Wall is right, as Beal is putting up some of the best numbers of his career this season. Through 22 games, he’s averaging 33.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest. Playing alongside Russell Westbrook this season, Beal leads the NBA in scoring.
Against the Rockets, Beal ‘outdueled’ Wall in a 131-119 win, finishing with 37 points, eight boards, and three assists.
