Isaiah Todd was one of the highly-rated high school recruits that took the G League path last season, alongside prospects like Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga. Although he wasn’t the biggest name on the Ignite roster, his stock continues to rise leading up to the 2021 NBA Draft.
Not long ago, Todd was projected as a second-round pick. Now, the 6-foot-10 forward could get selected in the lottery.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Todd is canceling workouts with teams owning late first-round picks, like the Utah Jazz, as he shifts his focus to just teams in the lottery.
At just 19 years old, Todd averaged 12.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game off the bench against professionals in the G League last season with the Ignite. What’s most intriguing is his ability to space the floor, knocking down .362 of his 3.1 attempts from beyond the arc.
