NBA Hall of Famer, Ray Allen, has been hired as the new head coach of the boy’s basketball team at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami according to The Athletic and Stadium NBA insider, Shams Charania.
Naismith Hall of Famer Ray Allen – a two-time NBA champion and 10-time All-Star – has become the new head coach of the boys basketball team at Gulliver Prep School in Florida.

Allen will be replacing Gary DeCesare who left the school to accept a head coaching position at De La Salle Institute in Chicago. Allen’s involvement with Gulliver in the past includes as an assistant coach for a middle school program, and his son, Ray Allen III is on the team as well.

The Raiders are scheduled to open the 2021-22 season Nov. 30 against Sports Leadership and Management. Gulliver has around 2,200 students spanning from prekindergarten through the 12th grade.
