The Milwaukee Bucks officially knocked off the Brooklyn Nets in overtime on Saturday night, but it wasn’t before Kevin Durant nearly ended the series himself.
With seconds remaining in regulation, he hit a tough turnaround jumper to tie the game and send it to OT. Had his foot been one inch back and the shot have been a 3-pointer, he would have won the Nets the series.
Durant finished with 48 points, nine rebounds
After the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke to reporters and gave Durant the highest praise.
When it was all said and done, Durant did everything he could on a short-handed Nets team. Kyrie Irving missed crucial games down the stretch and James Harden was never fully healthy.
Overall, Kevin Durant had a historic playoff run that will not soon be forgotten.
