Milwaukee Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe has not yet joined his team after testing positive for COVID-19, Chris Haynes of TNT reports. The 30-year-old has been symptom-free, however, and intends to arrive in the bubble when he clears the necessary protocols.
A healthy Bledsoe is a vital component of Milwaukee’s offense and will be relied upon heavily in the seeding round and postseason should he be able to quarantine and return to game shape in time.
The NBA’s season will officially return in two weeks time.
Bledsoe is the 22nd known NBA player to test positive for the coronavirus and is yet another example of a positive diagnosis that was caught and addressed prior to his joining the bubble.
In 56 games for the Bucks this season, Bledsoe has averaged 15.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
