The Memphis Grizzlies announced Desmond Bane would miss at least 2-3 weeks of action after he suffered a grade 2 big toe sprain on his right foot.

Bane has been dealing with the injury since Nov. 11, when Memphis beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-92. Bane dropped 24 points, three rebounds, and five assists on 7-16 shooting from the field and 2-7 shooting from beyond the arc in 33 minutes.

Bane is averaging 24.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game on 46.5 percent shooting from the field and 45.1 percent from downtown. Memphis (9-5) are fourth in the West and will look to improve their standings with a home game against the New Orleans Pelicans (7-6) on Tuesday.
