Former NBA guard, Delonte West, is currently working at the rehabilitation center that Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, admitted him to back in September.
Just months ago, footage of a homeless West circulated the web showing the 37-year-old homeless at an intersection in Dallas, Texas. Shortly after, Cuban picked him up at a gas station and admitted him into the Rebound therapy center in Florida.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Cuban has remained in close contact with West and helped reunite him with his mother.
In November, a video surfaced showcasing the former guard’s reunion with the hardwood.
West was the 24th pick in the 2004 NBA Draft and spent eight years in the league playing for the Boston Celtics, Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers and played his final season for the Mavericks.
During his tenure, West played in 432 games averaging 9.7 points, 3.6 dimes, and 2.9 rebounds.
