The 51st overall pick in the draft, Boston is signing a two-year guaranteed rookie deal with a third-year team option.
Spotrac’s Keith Smith reports that Boston is getting $2.5 million guaranteed in his deal with the Clippers, the most guaranteed money for a draft pick who was drafted in the 50-60 range and who didn’t spend time overseas.
The rook has also been in the lab with veteran guard Rajon Rondo, who was traded to the Clippers in March.
Clearly Los Angeles has high hopes for the 19-year-old.
