Matthew Dellavedova has become fan favorite for the Cleveland Cavaliers throughout his two stints with the team. Although he entered free agency this offseason, ESPN’s Olgun Uluc reported that Dellavedova has agreed to re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers on a one-year minimum deal.
This is an underrated signing, as Dellavedova will continue to have the opportunity to mentor Collin Sexton, Darius Garland and the other young guards on the roster.
The Australian point guard just turned 30, but can still be a solid reserve for the Cavs, even outside of being a leader and mentor in the locker room. Last season, he produced 3.1 points and 3.2 assists per game.
