According to Evan Massey of NBA Analysis Network, the Chicago Bulls have their eyes set on adding Los Angeles Lakers restricted free agent Talen Horton-Tucker to their youthful core.
While the organization has been in rebuilding mode, the midseason transaction to acquire All-Star center Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic underscores their will to contend for an Eastern Conference Playoffs spot.
Chicago is reportedly thoroughly intrigued by the talent and potential long-term fit of shooting guard Horton-Tucker alongside Vucevic and star guard Zach LaVine. On top of that, the Chi-Town ties are strong for Tucker who graduated from inner-city powerhouse Simeon Career Academy High School.

THT, a one-and-done at Iowa State, rarely played in his rookie season but his second year’s preseason run influenced his introduction as a regular rotation player.
During the 2020-21 season, Horton-Tucker averaged 9.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in just 20.1 minutes per game, shooting .458 percent from the field, .282 percent from 3-point range, .775 percent from free-throw range.
