Lopez has been in street clothes since playing in the season opener. While Lopez has been on the mend, Bobby Portis has stepped up and is starting at center, putting 15.1 points and grabbing 8.3 rebounds. The Bucks also signed DeMarcus Cousins this week to add depth to the center rotation.
Lopez is in his fourth season with the Bucks and contributed significantly as a starter during the Bucks’ championship run. Milwaukee has missed the spacing Lopez provides with his deep shooting, as well as missing his size and length at 7’0 and a 7’5 wingspan on the defensive side of the floor.
