The Denver Nuggets formulated a scheme with their Summer League team play through Bol Bol, much like their formula was this past season through their reigning NBA MVP, Nikola Jokic. It showed evidence that the organization had confidence in their young center.
For the most part, Bol Bol has taken advantage of his opportunities on the hardwood.
“We got him playing the five and the four,” assistant coach Charles Klask said earlier in August. “He’s going to kind of be our Summer League version of Nikola (Jokic) when he’s at the five. We’re going to try to play through him a lot. He’s a really good passer. He can see over the defense…He’s got a unique skillset and we’re going to try and highlight that in some different ways.”

Bol has shown the ability to draw the whistle from the officials and has been rewarded with and-one baskets on top of it. If he can keep being consistent drawing fouls and getting to the line, it could lead to more minutes in the regular season.
Overall, the Nuggets center has looked fluid and has shown versatility and guard-like skills that put him in the spotlight as one of the top-ranked prospects in high school.
