How could it not be? It’s our last chance to bestow honors upon one of the greatest players to ever lace ’em up, and we’re not wasting the opportunity. Kobe Bean Bryant went out on top, scoring a ridiculous 60 points to beat the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night at Staples Center. By far the most electrifying performance of the last week of the regular season, we’ll always remember this one:
Kobe averaged 17.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists in his 20th and final NBA season. And in the final moments of his illustrious career, he gave his loyal fans more than they could possibly ask for—if you wrote a movie script it wouldn’t be this perfect. Congrats and peace, Kobe.
