The NBA world has descended upon Las Vegas for the Vegas Summer League and last night, the top two picks in the ’16 Draft went at each other for the first time in an NBA setting. The Lakers defeated the Sixers 70-69, and the two highly-touted rooks provided a slew of highlights.
Ben Simmons finished with 8 points on 3-8 shooting, 10 boards and 8 assists and dazzled the crowd with passes that were worthy of the Magic and LeBron comparisons. Brandon Ingram also struggled from the field as he shot 3-12 for 7 points.
