The Philadelphia 76ers will waive Trey Burke, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Presumably to make room for one of the two Golden State Warriors they agreed to acquire yesterday.
Burke has seen limited playing time with the Sixers so far this season but did have his contract guaranteed when he remained on the roster through January 7.
The 27-year-old former lottery pick has played for five NBA teams over the course of the past five NBA seasons and will now hit the pavement looking for a sixth.
