The summer of 2015 has seen more player movement than ever before. Undoubtedly influenced by the massive salary cap increase coming after next season, players and teams have been making important decisions regarding their future.
Perhaps the biggest surprise has been the number of marquee free agents who have signed long-term deals. Even with the added riches in team’s pockets in 2016, players still seek the security of a multi-year pact.
We’ve broken down the NBA free-agent signings into two categories: “On The Move” and “Staying Put”. There’s a number of ways we could have done it, but players leaving and players staying is about as basic (and intuitive) as it gets.
Below is a complete look at the agreements made since the free-agent market opened on Wednesday. Let us know in the comments who you think has had the best and worst offseason so far!
