After missing an All-NBA team last season, and the big payday that would have come with it, Anthony Davis has started off the 2016-’17 season with a vengeance. On Wednesday, AD dropped 50 and 16 in an opening night loss to the Nuggets. Last night against the Warriors, Davis dominated once again to the tune of 45 and 17.
Despite Davis’ dominance, the Pelicans sit at 0-2.
“I’m just frustrated that we’re right there every time and we have some mental breakdowns,” Davis told NOLA.com after the game. “We’re playing hard, we’re playing with a lot of energy. We’ve just gotta find a way to execute better down the stretch.”
