Some might contend that LeBron James‘ signature play is his one-handed tomahawk dunk. But look back at James’ career-defining plays, and it’s clear that the chasedown block is LeBron’s trademark skill.
Nothing strikes fear in an opponent’s heart more than the sight of James chasing them on a fastbreak. Bron is almost predatorial as he hunts down the ball in transition.
Capable of swatting the ball into the stands in a split second, LeBron has the chasedown block down to a science. No layup is safe when James is on the court.
Looking back at Bron’s chasedown blocks across his first 13 seasons in the League, and the list of victims is a Who’s Who of the NBA: Stephen Curry, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Allen Iverson, to name just a few.
Ranking them all is all but impossible. That said, we’re pretty happy with this list. Chances are you won’t agree with the exact order, but that’s cool. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
