Last year, Carmelo Anthony joined protestors in the streets of Baltimore as they marched against police brutality.
Anthony was recently back in his old stomping grounds—catching up with friends, family and various other well-wishers—and spoke about why he felt the need to join the protests.
Melo was on stage at the ESPYs Wednesday night with fellow NBA superstars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul to push an anti-violence message.
