Tony Allen agrees with Steph Curry winning the NBA MVP. But he wants us all to know that while Steph had a great year, it’s nothing the Grizzlies swingman hasn’t seen before.
From CSN Bay Area:
“I don’t get a vote, but I acknowledge his MVP status,” Tony Allen said after practice on Monday. “It’s well deserved, I wasn’t surprised.”
…
“He can shoot the ball pretty good and he got a nice handle,” Allen said when asked what makes Curry special. “But it ain’t nothing I ain’t never seen before.”
Allen already drew the ire of the Oracle Arena crowd in Game 1 when he walked through the Junior Jam Dance squad’s routine coming out of a second-quarter timeout.
Coupled with his comments on Monday, Allen is not like to receive a warm welcome Tuesday night at Oracle.
