Congratulations to the Los Angeles Lakers, who are not only one of the worst teams in the NBA, but also now hold the title for the lamest teammate beef of the season.
Rookie point guard D’Angelo Russell recently shared a grainy video online of teammate Nick Young appearing to admit that he cheated on his fiancée, Iggy Azalea.
The pop star responded to the controversy last night on social media, and Russell has reportedly been ostracized in his own locker room.

Per ESPN and the LA Daily News:
Said one team insider: “This was a prank gone wrong and a mistake by [Russell], and he has to be held accountable, but I would hope he isn’t overly criticized for it.” […] The emergence of the video, sources said, has been the talk of the locker room for the past several days and has led to a tangible strain between Russell and some teammates.
At a recent breakfast meeting, one source said, no Laker would sit with Russell at his table. The source added that, in another instance, Russell came into the locker room and sat next to guard Lou Williams, who got up and walked away. […] “It’s bad,” one team source said. “It’s about as bad as it can get. There were trust issues already. Now there’s no trust.”
Even before Russell’s recorded video became public, several Lakers sources have privately echoed (Byron) Scott’s criticisms throughout the 2015-16 season about the 20-year-old Russell’s maturity, work ethic and attitude. During an angry speech following a loss in Portland in late January, Kobe Bryant had also singled Russell and Julius Randle out about their poor play.
