Stephen Curry became the first player in playoff history to bury 500 triples in League history while also taking charge to lead the Warriors to a 101-98 win over the Grizzlies to help give Golden State a 3-1 lead heading back to Memphis.
The two-time MVP achieved the record with 46.2 seconds left to go before halftime after missing his first five attempts.

Curry dropped 32 points in the late win, knocking down eight free throws over the final 45.7 seconds to cement Golden States’ comeback win on Monday night. Curry also dished eight assists and corralled five rebounds as Golden State rallied from seven points going into the fourth quarter, outscoring the Grizzlies 39-29 in the final frame.

Chef Curry tied the game at 90-all with a fall-away baseline J with 3:25 to go, while a pair of free throws with 45.7 seconds to go gave the Warriors their first lead of the night, a 94-93 edge.
The fact Golden State did this without shooting the ball very well and turning the ball over 16 times could be interpreted as a mixed bag. It would be valid to say the Warriors should’ve dominated tonight with Ja Morant not being in the lineup and being in the crib.
The win is all the sweeter because of the leadership and high-level play of Curry. Recently hired Kings head coach Mike Brown heaped praise on the all-time three-point king calling him the easiest superstar to be around.
“The great part about Steph, he’s got to be easiest superstar to be around — He’s always thinking about how can he help the team next.”

However, the Grizzlies were 20-5 without Morant in the regular-season. Be that as it may, the Warriors showed their championship mettle against a Grizzlies team that has routinely clawed back from deficits throughout the playoffs. This Game 4 loss will ultimately be a lesson for Memphis on closing out high-stakes games against championship contenders like Golden State.
The Grizzlies-Warriors shift back to Memphis for Game 5 on Wednesday, with Memphis looking to close the series deficit to 3-2.
