The Houston Rockets have announced that they’ve signed French forward William Howard to a two-way deal. The 26-year-old lands with his third NBA franchise this season.
While Howard has never played in the NBA previously, he played summer league ball with the Memphis Grizzlies and went through training camp with the Utah Jazz.
In Howard the Rockets will secure an adept shooter with great length, the 6’8″ wing averaged 13.1 points per game with Utah’s G League affiliate prior to signing on with Houston, while shooting .443 from beyond the arc.
Howard slides into the vacant two-way slot that the team had after converting Chris Clemons’ two-way to a standard deal.
