Patrick Beverley and the Rockets have agreed on a four-year, $25 million deal. The 26-year-old defensive ace is coming off a minimum-salary contract signed back in January of 2013.
From Yahoo:
Restricted free-agent guard Patrick Beverley has agreed to a four-year, $25 million deal to stay with the Houston Rockets, agent Kevin Bradbury told Yahoo Sports.
Beverley, 26, is one of the cornerstones to the Rockets and rejoins All-Star guard James Harden in the backcourt.
Houston reached agreement on the deal with Bradbury and Beverley on Saturday before they could fully explore the market for an offer sheet. Houston would’ve had the right to match a sheet and retain Beverley.
