One of the last remaining free agents, Lance Stephenson, has signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Pelicans need help at guard now that Jrue Holiday will miss an indefinite amount of time to care for his wife, Rachel, who will undergo brain surgery following the birth of their child this fall. The Pelicans will be the fifth team Stephenson will join since 2011. He has career averages of 8.8. points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
