Free agent center Kosta Koufos is joining the Sacramento Kings on a four-year, $33 million deal according to a report. After the Grizzlies signed Brandan Wright to a three-year deal, Koufos became expendable. He averaged 5.2 points and 5.3 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per game last season with Memphis.
From Marc Stein of ESPN:
Center Kosta Koufos, one of the underrated names on the free-agent market, is headed to the Sacramento Kings, according to league sources.
Sources said Koufos and the Kings have agreed to terms on a four-year deal worth a fully guaranteed $33 million, with an option for Koufos to return to free agency after Year 3 in the summer of 2018.
