Post Up: Farewell, Mamba

The NBA bid farewell to a legend on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.

Kobe Bryant went off for 60 points in a performance that, despite his 50 shots, will go down as one of Kobe’s greatest performances of his career. Kobe not only dropped the NBA season high, but he orchestrated a Lakers rally in the final 3 minutes to win.

Meanwhile, Stephen Curry and Warriors were re-writing the NBA record books in Oracle Arena. Curry led the way with 10 three pointers and 46 points as Golden State easily got win No. 73 on the season, setting the new bar for the best regular-season record in history. Curry also surpassed 400 threes on the season. Just wow.

Earlier in the night, Boston outscored the Heat by 34 in the second half with Celtic legends watching in the crowd. The Hawks lost to the Wizards, leading to a three-way tie in record with Boston and Miami. The tie-breakers worked out such that Miami took the 3-see, Atlanta the 4-seed and Boston the 5-seed.
