To date, the NBA has been stringent about enforcing its policies about player-referee interactions. When Green was ejected twice in the third quarter at just a moment’s notice, he violated those policies.
Green has averaged 7.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game for a Warriors (47-25) team that is third in the West behind the Phoenix Suns (58-14) and Memphis Grizzlies (49-23) with 10 games remaining in the regular season for the Dubs. The Warriors will be without Stephen Curry for all of those games as he recovers from a sprained foot he suffered last week.
