The Milwaukee Bucks have assigned versatile swingman Darington Hobson to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the team’s D-League affiliate. Via Wane.com: “The assignment mark the sixth time in the 2011-12 season an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate. It marks the first assignment for Hobson this season. A rookie, Hobson (6-7, 210) appeared in both regular season games for the Bucks, averaging 3.0 points and 2.5 assists. Drafted by the Bucks with the 37th overall pick of the 2010 NBA Draft, Hobson sat out the 2010-11 season after undergoing surgery to repair both of his hips. He was re-signed by the Bucks on Dec. 10.”
