Jaws dropped when the Los Angeles Lakers signed Kobe Bryant to a two-year, $48.5 million contract extension last season.
Kobe dismissed the inevitable torrent of criticism that followed as a bunch of “bullsh*t”. Bryant reacted Tuesday to the NBA’s new television rights deal (reported to be a staggering $24 billion over 9 years.)
Kobe pointed out the hypocrisy of players getting tagged with the “selfish” label while the L continues to rake in billions:
Players are "encouraged" per new CBA to take less to win or risk being called selfish+ungrateful while nbatv deal goes UP by a BILLION #biz
