Monday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder made a splash, trading for Cavaliers shooting guard Dion Waiters. Reactions around the League have been mixed—with much of the focus on the Cavs’ acquisition of J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the Knicks via the three-team deal. But OKC superstar Kevin Durant, for one, is excited to have Waiters in Thunder colors. The reigning MVP said last night that his team is ready to make Waiters “feel wanted.” Based on all the rumors out of Cleveland the last couple years, that’s a feeling Waiters may not know too well. From ESPN’s Marc Stein, via Twitter:
Kevin Durant on Dion Waiters: "We're going to make him feel wanted. I don't think he's felt that the last few years."
