The Milwaukee Bucks went out and made some big moves this offseason. Their biggest acquisition was Jrue Holiday, who would instantly raise their ceiling both offensively and defensively.
Playing for a team like the Bucks brings a new level of pressure for a guy like Holiday. This is a team who has been the best in the NBA the past two regular seasons but cannot get over the hump in the playoffs.
According to Steve Aschburner of NBA.com, Holiday is ready to embrace that pressure.
“Honestly, I think in any position there’s some sort of pressure. If you can’t handle pressure, you probably shouldn’t be in this locker room. There’s pressure everywhere. For me, being able to control that, handle that through my family life, handle that with my teammates who support me and I them, I feel that’s kind of how you get through those type of pressure times.”
This shows the amount of poise and confidence that Holiday has. He’s a veteran in this league who gets it done on and off the court. As the third member of Milwaukee’s big three with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday is ready to face all of the pressure and challenges that this season will provide.
