While the Indiana Pacers wait for Caris LeVert to be ready to make his debut with the team, Jeremy Lamb has returned from injury and played great. Coming off of an ACL tear, Lamb has looked as good as ever through his first few games for Indiana.
Through his first five games of the season, Lamb has averaged 14.0 points per game while shooting .364 from deep. The timing of his return couldn’t be more perfect, as Victor Oladipo was traded to the Houston Rockets around the time Lamb made his debut. While the Pacers wait for LeVert to recover from a recent surgery to treat renal cell carcinoma of his left kidney, Lamb will be an excellent stopgap when it comes to scoring the ball.
Lamb recently made his first start of the season, showing just how impactful he has been on this Pacers roster. He’s already notched two games of 20+ points this season and has been instrumental in Indiana winning three of their last four games.
