James Harden evidently wasn’t very amused by Giannis Antetokounmpo joking about why he picked Kemba Walker over him for his NBA All-Star squad earlier this month.
Giannis added fuel to the fire by knocking Harden’s defensive abilities after the big game.
The Beard clapped back with a thinly-veiled shot at The Greek Freak’s game, alluding to his belief that Antetokounmpo’s size and otherworldly athleticism mask a supposed lack of skill.
The Rockets’ 30-year-old superstar guard also addressed the MVP race and Houston’s super-small-ball attack this season.
Per ESPN:
“I average more assists than [Walker], I think,” Harden told Rachel Nichols.
“I don’t see what the joke is.“
Added Harden: “I wish I could just run and … seven feet and run and just dunk. That takes no skill at all. I gotta actually learn how to play basketball and how to have skill.”
